Uzbekistan gives fur-lined undies the slip
The other day I read an article ( don’t exactly remember where ) about a new invention of uzbek enterpreneurs, the fur-lined underwear that used to be sold in Tashkent. What a frustration but the authorities of Uzbekistan “have ordered an immediate halt to sales of men’s and women’s underwear lined on the inside with animal fur”. I don’t have any idea why they would do that. Do they think this exotic merchandise is dangerous ? Actually things like that do not surprise anybody in Uzbekistan nowadays.

So we can safely say this has nothing to do with animal rights or anything like that.
I don’t even get what this means: “Authorities here, citing the “unbridled fantasy” that the newfangled thermal undergarments could spark if left unchecked, have ordered an immediate halt to sales of men’s and women’s underwear lined on the inside with animal fur, apparently the brainchild of a local entrepreneur.” (from the article linked to in this post).
Logic (?): fur-lined underwear -> flagrant sexual fantasizing -> the deterioration of the moral fiber of society
Is that the implication of “unbridled fantasy”?
